What the work is
Most trips are not spoiled by choosing the wrong place. They are spoiled by structure: three nights where five were needed, a transfer that eats a day nobody budgeted for, a base chosen from a photograph rather than from where it sits on a map. That is the part we work on.
A plan from us reads as a sequence of decisions with reasons attached, not a brochure. You will see why a stop is where it is in the order, how long the leg between two places really takes, which areas suit the way you actually travel, and what has to be booked early because it genuinely sells out.
We take payment for that thinking and nothing else. No commission sits behind a recommendation, because we are not paid by any hotel, airline or operator — there is nothing for a supplier to buy from us.
How we plan
Route before wishlist
We fix the shape of the trip first — how many bases, in what order, and how long each one holds your attention. Everything else is easier once the spine is right.
Honest travel times
Plans are built against realistic road, rail and transfer times rather than map distances. Most disappointing trips are not badly chosen, they are badly paced.
Areas, not just addresses
We tell you which neighbourhood, valley or coast to base yourself in and why, so you can choose your own stay with the reasoning already done.
Written to be used
Every plan is delivered as a document you can read on a phone at an airport gate: short, ordered, with the decisions already made and the alternatives listed underneath.
Nothing is booked on your behalf
We do not hold inventory, take deposits or act for any supplier. You keep full control of what you book, with whom, and on what terms.
Scope agreed in writing
Before any fee is paid you see the deliverable, the delivery target and the revision round in plain language. Nothing expands or shrinks quietly.
Where we plan
- Southeast Asia
- Island and multi-base routing where traffic, ferries and internal flights drive the plan.
- North Africa
- City-and-desert loops built around long driving days and realistic overnight stops.
- Mediterranean Europe
- Ferry timetables, island hopping and shoulder-season pacing.
- Nordic and North Atlantic
- Weather-contingent routes with daylight, road closures and season built into the plan.
- East Asia
- Rail-led itineraries where pass validity and city order decide the whole trip.
- East Africa
- Season-critical routing where timing matters more than the length of the trip.
Coverage follows our published guides. Outside these regions we will either decline or tell you plainly that the research is starting from scratch.
